Day 3: At Sea

  • We started the day off with smoked salmon, watermelon, muesli, bacon, and a cafe latte.
  • Joined a trivia game happening in the main lobby only it lasted 15 minutes.
  • Dewayne went to the hot tub.
  • I stayed in the room and read for 1.5 hours on the balcony enjoying the ocean breeze.
  • I had three (3) waiters that assisted me:
    • Roger
    • Harald
    • Head waiter is Mihai Garba, head waiter from Romania.
  • Cala is a really nice place to eat and reminded me of a nice Japanese steakhouse with lots of dark maroon and gold decor.

On the Menu

  • Dinner was amazing with salmon cakes and cucumber caper salad.
  • Surf and turf (steak and lobster) was what I ate.
  • For dessert was a royal bake with chocolate and vanilla ice cream.
  • Everything brought out to me was gluten free (yay!).
  • Meet the Captain and Staff at 7pm and was passing out free drinks.
  • Had  3 free drinks, a Mai Tai and a gin and tonic, and bubbly.
  • At 7:30pm, we saw the Premier show and movie musical by the talent on board.
  • Cast consisted of dancers, contortionists, and singers.
  • After we went to the Le Cabernet Rouge and watched a live show of an Aussie singer female singing rock covers.
  • David from Denmark juggled and kept dropping his props.
